Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue District Fire Stations Number 4 and 5

Lee County, FL — AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (AIM) was responsible for providing surveying and civil engineering services to design, permit, and construct these two new fire/EMS station facilities for the Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue District in Lee County. The two new stations provide an increased level of service to the unincorporated community of Lehigh Acres. Both station sites required rezoning and an innovative design approach was required for Station No. 4 to provided internal fire suppression water supply, as public water (utilities) did not extend to the site.

AIM helped to develop a hydrant draft system that utilized water in a drainage canal adjacent to the site. AIM’s services included boundary and topographic survey, rezoning services, site design, regulatory permitting, and construction administration services.
