Golden Gate Estates

The United States Census found that Collier County had an 18% increase in population from April 1, 2000 to July 1, 2004. This growth coupled with the historic temporary control measures and assumed elevations in the Golden Gate Estates area have created a lack of consistent survey control. The goal of this project was to collect approximately 100 miles of roadway and drainage data that will enable Collier County to determine easement limits and develop profile grades for paving along with the necessary grades for appropriate drainage improvements. AIM provided horizontal and vertical control survey, supplemental boundary survey and topographic survey on this project.
