AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc. offers a wide range of Civil Site Engineering Services. We specialize in performing Civil/Site design for all types of development projects including new and renovated residential & commercial developments, public parks, and recreational facilities. At project inception, we work closely with the project team to develop a functional site plan that meets the needs of the client and complies with zoning and land development standards applicable to the project site.

AIM’s Civil Site Engineering Group includes Civil Engineers, Designers and Technicians with the capability and experience necessary to provide project coordination, complete design plans, submittal documents, and necessary permit applications for the development process. Typical Site Engineering projects include evaluation and design for site drainage and storm water management, potable water & sanitary sewer service connections along with traffic impact statements, landscaping plans, and other site improvements requiring design and construction details.

AIM has in-house environmental scientists on board to evaluate new projects for potential environmental impacts and other concerns, such as possible wetland impacts and the presence of protected and endangered species. If environmental impacts are discovered, our staff has the expertise required to develop a mitigation plan acceptable to the applicable regulatory agency while meeting the project goals.

Through our many projects, the Civil Site Engineering Group has developed extensive experience in working with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. From project inception to project completion, we strive to create open lines of communication with these agencies to expedite the permitting process to the greatest extent possible. When the permitting process is underway, we utilize an on-staff permit coordinator to expedite submittals and sufficiency responses, and we keep the client updated on the status of the application process.

The AIM staff also includes team members with years of experience in utility design, specifically potable water distribution and sanitary sewer collection & treatment systems. We provide design services for new utility lines and extensions of existing lines, and we have the experience to resolve potential underground utility conflicts that can arise with new projects.
